According to a report in the Times, a judge who was having a steamy affair with TWO women told a jury that he was being blackmailed with his home-made sex videos by his one of his lovers, his Brazilian cleaner.
The immigration judge was having it away his cleaner, Roselane Driza, who he nicknamed "real chilli-hot stuff", and the other lady is said to be his ex-girlfriend, another Asylum and Immigration Tribunal judge.
"Miss Driza, 37, is accused of blackmailing the male judge to live rent-free at his home, and of extorting £20,000 from the female judge, who had employed her illegally," the Times writes.
The judge, who is referred to as Mr I for legal reasons, said he was "absolutely petrified" that the stolen tapes would be sent to Lord Falconer of Thoroton, the Lord Chancellor – which we presume is his boss.
"She told me about scenes from the video. She was saying something about my having slept with other women on the video cassettes. I told her I wanted the videos. Her reaction at that stage was that she had taken them and they were her defence. She said she had wrapped them up and left them with a friend with instructions of what to do if anything happened to her," said Mr I.
By all accounts, Miss Driza, or "real chilli-hot stuff" as we prefer to call her, began cleaning for the judge in 2004 and when their relationship began, she moved in with him.
Mr I had previously been in a five year relationship with another judge, Miss J, and Driza allegedly tried to blackmail them both: "I had bought this video camera and was playing with it and they were images one doesn’t want . . . I feared that she was going to send them to the Lord Chancellor’s Department, to my superiors, if I didn’t get Miss J to pay up."
