My homegirl Kendra G., Morning Show Co-Host of the "Trey the Chocolate Jock Morning Jump-off" on Power 92 Chicago hit me up to let me know that the R.Kelly trial will begin Oct. 13th! FINALLY!!! As we all know, R.Kelly is facing charges for child porn for allegedly having sex with an underage girl. Now R. Kelly lawyers claim that it is not R. Kelly on the infamous tape (which holds the record for the "Most Bootlegged" video award) and that R.Kelly's image may have been computer generated! SMH. R.Kelly had the best lawyers on Earth. He should have lent them to Mr. Biggs!
So, I have some people that like to pop up only when its a good time to correct me. One of these people hit me and let me know that Diddy's new song, "I'm Richer, B****" isn't talking to 50 Cent. Why? It was recorded way before their beef started to bubble. A-HA! As you know, this beef has been under the radar for quite some time, but I let you know about it. So, while its not a straight dis, there it could have been written way back when, even before it came to the public eye. Congrats to Diddy on those twins. Those are two lucky kids!
Rumor has it, Dave Mays and Benzino have been working dilligently on their new project, a Hip-Hop tabloid sort of a paper. The only thing is, I heard they might have hit a bit of a snag. The proposed name, Hip-Hop Weekly, is reportedly taken by somebody that retains the trademark and the website. Word has it, Mr. Mays has offered the man quite a large sum of money to come up off that. I don't know if they made a deal or not though. Anyway, I haven't confirmed this, but there seems to be something there.

I know my own site is going to get mad at me for this one, but I have to say it! Foxy Brown is working on her new album, Black Roses. Well, on that album is a track called "Legends" and Inga gets to dumb out with the best in the biz. This song has Nas, Big Daddy Kane, Roxane Shante, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, and the late-great Tupac (an unused vocal)! The beat is apparently from both Timbaland and The Neptunes and it changes in the middle of the beat. Yeah, this is what we need - Foxy! It has been a long wait.
I heard that Hot 97's Miss Jones hasn't been on the air, because she had some sort of emergency - not a suspension. I don't know exactly what happened, but I'm hoping everything is "A-OK" with one of my favorite morning hosts!
